Logging into your ANGEL Online Course

  1. Go to the Angel Website: http://sctech.angellearning.com/default.asp, save this link in your Favorites or you can logon to Angel at the top of the website on the SCTC Website: www.sctech.edu (see “Student Email Accounts and Angel Username and Password Information”).
  2. Enter your username and password when you are in the Angel Website. Your username is 31_plus your nine-digit SCTC student ID number. For example, if your SCTC student ID number is 900111111 then your Angel username and password are 31_900111111. Once you enter your Angel homepage, you will be prompted to change your password. Try not to forget your new password! However, if you have can’t remember your password and you have activated your SCTC email listed in Banner Self-Serve then you can request that your password be emailed to you.
  3. Follow the directions and a list of your courses will appear. Click on the course name you wish to go to. You must enter each course in which you are enrolled and contact each instructor via email as stated under “Online, Hybrid, and Web-Enhance Courses”. Logging into one course and emailing that one instructor does not give you attendance for all of your courses.
  4. Contact your instructor(s) both within Angel (using the Communication tab and Course Mail) and through your SCTC student email account. This needs to be done within the first week of the quarter. If you do not let your instructor(s) know that you are in the course, you will be marked as a “no show” student (student that didn’t show up for the course).

Note: If you log into any of your courses just one time but never again, you are considered present in that course even if you do not send the teacher an email. If you decide you want to drop that course, you must do so by completing a drop/add form available at the Admissions Office.
